First thing I wanna say is, please do strand tests.

The this is the best way. Do not experiment with somebody's whole head. Do a strand test in the back of her hair. Put it in a foil.

Hit it with a blow dryer. You'll know in in ten minutes if if that's right. Do two strand test. If you can't decide on this formula, this formula, do two strand test.

Try it. Please don't experiment with people's heads.

Try different things. More importantly, these things are available to us. Look at these mannequins. First of all, with this blonde mannequin, you can see color.

You're worried that it's gonna be too red. You don't know the try it. Take, you know, cut off a little ponytail. Cut off a little section, make a ponytail.

Do a strand test. But you buy these mannequins and you leave them in the back room because if you have a client, if you want to bleach it out first and then try something. But if you have clients like, what do I do? I don't know which formula to do.

You should be able to have these guys in your backroom that you can cut off a piece of hair, put it in a ponytail and do a strand test. Guessing and trying to learn on social media is not going to help you. You have to do it. You have to see what it is.

So you can buy these guys. This is like an eighteen inch blonde mannequin which you can still bleach or you can check out your reds and check out your browns and check out your toners to see how how the toner is gonna work. This is a good thing to do. You you can get a hundred strand tests and a hundred different experiments out of buying a a blonde mannequin.

And this mannequin, right? So we have the gray section back here. Okay.

You wanna experiment and check your gray coverage formula. You get some gray hair. You know, same thing you can cut off a piece, make a ponytail and try and try something. You know, we also have a blonde section here.

You have a brown section. You wanna try a bleach? You wanna try a color formula? You you do it.

You cut off a piece, you try it. Right? We also have a section here of really textured hair, really coarse textured hair. So you can see the difference between hair that's not textured and hair that is and check the formula on both.

Try bleaching a section of each to see which what happens? Is it gonna take longer for this section or maybe it doesn't? Maybe it takes longer on this one. But it gives you an idea of how your tools work and you're not getting this information from social media.

Stop posting pictures and asking questions. Buy a couple mannequins.

Make sure you do strand tests. Make sure you do experiments. Make sure you know how your product works before you go and do it on your client's head.

These guys are these guys are cheap to buy. Go on coastline e d u dot com. Buy an eighteen inch, blonde mannequin. Buy one of these color section mannequins. I think it's Meg.

Oh, this one's Ebony. It's got the, textured section on it. Buy these mannequins and please start learning how to do color on your own. Learning your formulas, learning how to do toners this way instead of social media or just experimenting, putting out on your client's head, crossing your fingers, and in the background praying to the color gods that it's gonna come out. Have these guys in your back room. It takes you ten minutes to do a strand test to figure out if you're gonna be on the money. Please, guys, let's do things better for our clients instead of learning on social media.
